"The Hungarian arm of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corp. has announced the production of its 1.5 millionth car in its 17th year of operation on Wednesday.Magyar Suzuki said this performance is attributable to continuous investments during the past years, technological developments, including the nearly full automatisation of its welding unit, and the company's 6,000 employees.
Magyar Suzuki's 1.5 millionth model, a 5-door, 1.2-litre petrol engine turquoise Splash, rolled out of the factory on Wednesday. The company plans to manufacture 60,000 of this model this year.
Magyar Suzuki produces Swift, SX4 and Splash models in its Esztergom factory."
