Now Showing In Budapest: 'The House Bunny'

Now Showing In Budapest: 'The House Bunny'
"Shelley is living a carefree life until a rival gets her tossed out of the Playboy Mansion. With nowhere to go, fate delivers her to the sorority girls from Zeta Alpha Zeta. Unless they can sign a new pledge class, the seven socially clueless women will lose their house to the scheming girls of Phi Iota Mu.

In order to accomplish their goal, they need Shelley to teach them the ways of makeup and men; at the same time, Shelley needs some of what the Zetas have -- a sense of individuality. The combination leads all the girls to learn how to stop pretending and start being themselves.

Movie type: Comedy - This is a silly comedy aimed at an older teen/young adult audience, particularly females, though there is appeal for everyone. Fans of Anna Faris will not be disappointed as this is basically a one-woman show for her comic talents. There is some suggestive humor.

Director: Fred Wolf

Script:  Karen McCullah Lutz, Kirsten Smith

Starring:Anna Faris (Shelley), Beverly D'Angelo, Colin Hanks (Oliver), Kat Dennings (Mona)

Length: 1 hr. 30 min.

Reviews:

„Poor The House Bunny deserves credit only for reminding viewers what it's like to lose two hours of one's life and get nothing in return.”Berardinelli, Internet Critic

„Good There a number of few truly funny, eminently quotable lines, but the plot really isn't anything you haven't seen before: It's kinda CLUELESS, sorta LEGALLY BLONDE and awfully similar to SYDNEY WHITE. But Faris saves the day, and it isn't the first time:...”TV Guide Online

„Above Average The entire purpose of this late-summer comedy is to be a showcase for Anna Faris, star of the "Scary Movie" franchise, whose sunny disposition and solid comic timing make " The House Bunny" a whole lot more enjoyable than it ought to be.”Newsday
