Forint Traders Focused On Holiday, Lose Interest In Markets |
 "The exchange rate of the Hungarian forint vs. the euro stayed in a very narrow range on the last trading day before Christmas. Quotes practically unchanged from morning to midday as news that could have impacted the rate were scarce. In the afternoon, the rate dropped back to yesterday's level.Markets saw minor fluctuations in value of the Hungarian currency vs. the euro this morning, with the rate seen at 264.5 at midday and a decline to 263.20 in the afternoon. With Christmas and New Year only a few days away, investors displayed flagging interest in the market, yesterday's rate decision was the last event with an impact on trading."
