According to Yahoo German luxury carmaker BMW AG and Canadian parts maker Magna International Inc's Steyr unit in Austria said on Friday they planned to develop technology for environmentally friendly cars. The companies had signed a letter of intent to develop and deliver a tank for liquid hydrogen for BMW's new 7-Series, Magna said in a statement.
