International Support for Jackson Fizzles

On Budapest's Vorosmarty Square, where tens of thousands demonstrated in the 1980s against Hungary's communist regime, about 25 fans gathered, each holding a balloon saying "100 percent Innocent."

"We're here to show Michael that Hungarians stand by him," said student Agnes Spett, 21, one of the rally's organizers. The group was made up almost exclusively of young women, many of whom attended the pop star's September 1996 concert in Budapest.
