IETM (Informal European Theatre Meeting) at Trafó

April 22-25, 12 pm
Conference adn artistic program during four days...

After 10 years the Informal European Theatre Meeting will again take place in Hungary.

IETM is a network of organizations active in the field of contemporary theater and dance, whose some 400 members from 45 countries comprise festivals, theaters, promoters, producers, government organizations, NGOs, and information and cultural centers.

Based in Brussels, since 1981 it has been the oldest and largest professional forum in Europe for contemporary performaning arts.

Members currently include Trafó and the Budapest Fall Festival, as well as the Berliner Festspiele, the Kunsten Festival des Arts in Brussels, and the Avignon Festival.

The IETM meetings are significant events, because once per year the approximately 500 leading shapers of European contemporary artistic life sit together, divide up problems among each other in professional discussions, look for answers to important questions, and initiate cooperation.

As an old member of IETM Trafó is naturally the scene of accompanying programs. We advise everyone that tickets to these performances are available in limited numbers!

Trafó House of Contemporary Arts, Budapest, IX. Liliom utca 41.
Tel: 456-2055, 456-2050
