Vodafone gets data boost from Nokia

Nokia and Vodafone Hungary Rt have signed an agreement on the Finnish giant providing the Hungarian mobile operator with a microwave radio system called Flexi Hopper Plus.


The system will increase data transmission capacity between radio masts and will decrease bandwidth to half. According to data publicized by the National Telecommunications Authority, mobile operators in Hungary had 8 million subscribers at the end of February with Vodafone scooping a market share of 17.04%.
