Telecoms firm Matáv Rt said that its stake will increase to 92.56% in Stonebridge Communications, the company which hold 51% of the Macedonia's fixed line operator Maktel, after SEEF Holdings Ltd decided to exercise the 'put' option on its remaining 3.05% Stonebridge stake. Matáv expects to pay some Euro 22.5 million for the stake in the put option, based on the formula in the option contract which takes into account the price the consortium paid for the Maktel stake, Maktel's EBITDA and its net debts. The transaction is to be executed in June. (Econews)
