A Hungarian soccer player collapsed and died on the pitch during a training session, Hungarian website Nemzetisport reported on Thursday. The cause of death of 26-year-old Istvan Szabo was not known, the website said.
Szabo, from third division village team Uraiujfalu in the west of the country, is the second Hungarian footballer to die on the pitch this year.
Benfica's Hungary international Miklos Feher, 24, died after collapsing from an apparent heart attack just before the end of a Portuguese league game against Vitoria Guimaraes in January.
