The factory of car manufacturer General Motors (GM) in Szentgotthárd, western Hungary, will stop the production of continuously variable transmissions (CVT) at the end of 2003, said PR Manager Edit Légrádi.The factory will keep on producing car engines and truck transmissions. The 50 workers employed at the CVT production will be taken over by the engine-producing branch. (Vg 1) G.B.
