Hungarian railways MÁV is to lease passenger cars and trucks from LeasePlan Hungary for HUF 6.178 billion in the next four years, national newswire MTI reported on Tuesday.
The price includes the servicing of the vehicles, as well.
MÁV will lease 1,161 vehicles, give or take 30 percent.
Maxabo, a distributor of Opels in Hungary, will be included in the deal as subcontractor to an extent of over 10% of the lease value.
Other contenders in the MÁV tender were ALD Automotive Magyarország Kft. and X-Rent Autókölcsönzõ és Flottakezelõ Kft.
