The Board of Directors of Slovak Telecom decided to carry out personal changes in the the management. Accordingly they decided to appoint Szabolcs Gáborjáni-Szabó, financial director of Matáv, as CFO of the Slovak peer effective 15 April.
Deutsche Telekom(DT), the majority owner of Slovak Telekom (ST) (and of Matáv) appointed Mark von Lillienskiold, the first deputy vice president and CFO of ST so far, as deputy CEO of T-Venture, a 100% subsidiary of DT. Gáborjáni-Szabó will succeed Lillienskiold.
Gáborjáni-Szabó, graduated as mathematician and later obtained a diplom as economist as well, followed by a CFA. His carrier started at K&H Bank's department of special project financing, followed by the Budapest Stock Exchange's derivatives department. He has been with Matáv since 1996.
