EU too slow for Hungary's farmers |
One year after 10 new countries joined the European Union, one of the areas of life which has been most affected by the change is agriculture.
Although figures published by the European Union indicate that the agricultural sector in Eastern Europe is getting richer, farmers in Hungary are complaining that delays in the payment of subsidies are causing them hardship.
