Hungary's forint can weaken by ``a few percentage points'' without spurring inflation, deputy central bank governor Gyorgy Szapary said in an interview.
``The forint can fluctuate within a few percentage points of its current rate without affecting our inflation target,'' said Szapary, 66, who spent 25 years at the International Monetary Fund before joining the central bank in 1993. ``I'm not worried about forint weakness affecting inflation at the moment.''
