Introducing the Xpat Yoga Club

Our new 'club captain' Nora says: "If you would like to say good-bye to stress and give attention to your body, mind and soul, join our Xpat Yoga Club. We meet every Wednesday at 6.45 pm. in 2nd district, Ady E. u. 1. (intersection of Bimbó út - Ady E.utca). Yoga class is held 7-8.30 pm by professional yoga instructor and costs just HUF 1200. Enjoy a tea and chat after the class."

For more info call Nora the organiser on 0620-552-6564, for now she has this advice:

"Of course you can practice yoga at home too, here's some starting guidance, a description of the 'Full Yogic Breath':

Sit down on the floor with legs crossed and straight back. Put your right hand on your belly and your left hand on your chest. Breathe deeply in all the way down to your belly into your right hand. Feel your right hand rising up with your belly. After filling up your belly with the air continue inhaling into your chest by expanding your rib cage sideways and all the way up to your collarbones, feeling it with your left hand. Then start exhaling by letting your collarbones come down, continue by letting your chest contract sideways and finally let your belly come down. Your hands are there to feel the wave of your breath moving between your belly and your collarbones. Continue breathing in this way for two or three minutes. Relax your body and your mind as you breathe."
