Xpat Film Club - latest reviews, recommendations, and an invitation

Hey movie fans!

Of the movies this week I recommend The Door in the Floor w/Jeff Bridges - his performance is brilliant. Kinsey is a well executed bio-pic about the famed sex researcher. Both are in new release so you can find them at a variety of theaters.

Re-releases this week include:

Vera Drake - May 31, 20:00, Taban - June 1, 17:00, Muvesz

21 Grams - May 28, 15:30, Europa

The Pianist - May 29, 14:30, Muvesz

The Station Agent - June 1, 16:45 Szinbad

And a personal favorite:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - May 26, 17:15 Muvesz - June 1, 20:15, Kultiplex

If you're interested in classics:

A Man For All Seasons (Henry VIII abandons Sir Thomas
More, isn't it?) May 28, 16:30, Orokmozgo

Macbeth (Orson Welles in black-face) May 26, 18:30, Orokmozgo

High Noon (Gary Cooper & Grace Kelly) June 1, 16:30, Orokmozgo

I'll be seeing High Noon at Orokmozgo on Wednesday, June 1 at 16:30. Anyone out there with a "flexible" schedule and an interest in classic cinema, let me know. I'd love the company. We can debate whether or not Gary Cooper wore mascara over an post-movie beverage of your choice.
