Canadian Bombardier, the losing party in the tender bid to supply MÁV Rt with suburban electric trains, requested legal redress on three counts, upon which the Public Procurement Arbitration Committee (KDB) will decide September 13.MÁV Rt and Stadler Rt cannot contract until this time, while one condition of the contract is that KDB finds no violation of the law. Until now KDB has not found a law violation made by Bombardier. Stadler requested that Bombardier be barred from bidding in any Hungarian public procurement tenders for the next five years. Amongst the other issues Bombardier complained about is MÁV asking Stadler for a new tender while it was not obliged to so by KDB. (NG 5) É.V.
