 "The classic of Webber and Rice made Eva Peron immortal whose life gets revived in summer at the Margaret Island Open-air Stage! This woman, having arisen from unbelievable depths to heights, sang on the balcony of national presidency that “Don’t cry for me Argentina”.Evita’s life story has been staged and filmed with great success! Madonna and Banderas played the lead characters of the legendary film. The musical is successfully run since its world premiere in 1972 and its Hungarian premiere in 1980!
We reproduce a unique interpretation of this great musical by the author duo with the cooperation of the National Theatre of Győr, surrounded by compelling scenery at the Open-air Stage.
Lead artists are Kinga Szűcs, Gabriella Berkes, Sándor Tóth, Péter Forgács, Balázs Nagy and Bernadett Tunyogi."
