Wallis Rt, a holding company owned by Hungarian investors, has led a consortium in the purchase of Dataplex Kft, an info communication infrastructure service provider with the biggest data storage center in Central Europe, Wallis said yesterday.
Béres bought the company in 2002 as a financial investment, and will use the proceeds from the sale to build a Ft 1 billion factory and warehouse in Szolnok (central Hungary), Béres said. Dataplex had revenue of Ft 700 million in 2004, double the amount a year earlier. (Econews; NG 1, Nb 14)
