FC Liverpool Has Landed At Ferihegy
"FC Liverpool players and technical support team members have arrived at Budapest Airport this afteroon with a bmi special flight. Players of ’pool will meet Hungarian team Debrecen DVSC tomorrow at the venerable Ferenc Puskás Stadium in Budapest, among others Steve Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Pepe Reina and Dirk Kuyt will go out on the field. They all were brought to Hungary on board a 180 seat capacity British Midland Airbus A 321 type aircraft leased for just this occasion.

The five times Champions Legaue winner Mersey-side team players, technical team and the famous Spanish coach Rafael Benitez were greeted ont he tarmac in Budapest by Mr. Kam Jandu, Aviation Director of Budapest Airport, a British citizen and himself a long-time fan of Liverpool.

The first meeting with Debrecen took place in mid-September in Liverpool. Though the Hungarian team have lost (1:0) then but was defending quite well against the attacks of World-class Liverpool players quite successfully. Tomorrow we will see if there is a chance for the Loki (Locomotiv – or railway workers' team) from Debrecen to reach its first win in the Champions’ Legaue on home soil."
