CEO Istvan Kocsis told Inforadio that the BKV will not profit from the strike, as it will use the savings accrued last week to compensate commuters.
Negotiations on fringe benefits required hard work, but a compromise considering the interests of both sides was reached, he said.
Kocsis expressed confidence that an agreement on wages will be reached in talks that have just begun."
