Orbán Rules Out Fidesz-Jobbik Pact
"Fidesz will not enter into an alliance with Jobbik, party leader Viktor Orbán under-lined yesterday. Interviewed on MTV, Orbán said the next government will have to follow an austerity policy and that Fidesz plans to create one million jobs in ten years, or even sooner.

Orbán said an exact inventory of the Hungarian economy should be made and accountability for the state of the country will have to be legally established. “This will annihilate the Socialists” because the power abusers have clearly come from their sphere of interests in recent years, he said.

On the planned construction of the radar station on the Tubes hill, Orbán said “we must sit down with NATO to find another site”.
If Fidesz takes power, it will establish a “green bank” to finance projects to install energy-efficient heating on housing estates, Orbán told HírTV later in the day.

It is as yet undecided whether the bank would be independent or a specialised arm of the state development bank MFB, he added. The upgrade of housing devel-opments would not cost residents a single fillér, he pledged."
