Reports by concerned members of public of suspected bird flu rise dramatically |
The National Veterinary Institute has received over 1,200 letters over the past few weeks from residents with sightings of wild fowl, concerned that the animals might have been infected by bird flu, said business paper Vilaggazdasag on Tuesday.
