"Tens of thousands of young people, joined by politicians and musicians, staged a protest against the probable closure of the Zöld Pardon open-air bar at the Buda side of the Petőfi Bridge on Sunday evening. Rumours spread in early May that the 11th District planned to shut down the popular kert bar. The council will decide on Thursday whether Zöld Pardon will be allowed to operate.
The bar has been hugely popular since it opened 13 years ago."
