Now Showing In Budapest: 'The Muppets'
"Small town, USA, home to Walter, brother Gary and his girlfriend, Mary. It's the kind of town where people smile a lot, give apples to teachers and break into song - just because. But the trio leaves the safety of Smalltown behind for a long-awaited trip to Hollywood and an opportunity to visit Muppet Studios at last."

Movie type: Comedy - Like all of their previous films, especially the first three, this is a family musical comedy starring the title troupe of puppet characters. Fans of the live action stars, Jason Segel and Amy Adams, will also not be disappointed as they show off their musical and acting skills.

Director: James Bobin

Script: Jim Henson, Jason Segel, Nicholas Stoller

Starring: Peter Linz (Walter), Jason Segel (Gary), Amy Adams (Mary), Chris Cooper (Tex Richman)

Length: 2 hr. 0 min.

Reviews:

Berardinelli, Internet Critic: “Good Simply put, The Muppets is good fun. The filmmakers understand not only the enduring appeal of Kermit and friends but are able to capture what they were like 30 years ago. The movie is designed for anyone who ever fell under the spell of Jim Henson's unlikely TV and movie stars.”

Roger Ebert: “Good What's rather canny about this revival is that it sidesteps the fact that some younger viewers may not actually be very familiar with the Muppets. Their parents will be the fans.”

USA Today: “Very Good More fresh than retro, The Muppets bursts with charm and cheeky humor.”

Chicago Tribune: “Good The film's naive, sincere streak, happily, is wider than its subversive one. It's fun to spend time with these characters again.”
