Now Showing In Budapest: 'Man On A Ledge'
"Nick Cassidy makes a desperate and life-threatening move to prove his innocence after he is framed for the theft of a rare, prized diamond. Recently escaped from prison and with nowhere else to go, Nick climbs onto the ledge of a towering skyscraper, inviting the eyes of New York City to anxiously watch as one wrong step could mean plunging to his death."

Movie type: Crime Thriller - This is an action thriller aimed at a young adult audience. Fans of Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks should be pleased though some other known actors have smaller roles. Language and some violence make the film inappropriate for some younger viewers.

Director: Asger Leth

Script: Pablo F. Fenjves

Starring: Sam Worthington (Nick Cassidy), Elizabeth Banks (Lydia Mercer), Ed Harris (David Englander)

Length: 1 hr. 42 min.

Reviews:

Berardinelli, Internet Critic: “Above Average Man on a Ledge is a heist film with a great hook, a fast pace, and a major letdown of an ending.”

Roger Ebert: “Average With a movie like 'Man on a Ledge,' however, I feel toyed with. The movie cuts back and forth between two preposterous plot lines and uses the man on the ledge as a device to pump up the tension.”

USA Today: “Below Average But more often the film succumbs to clichés, grows convoluted and outlandish, and winds up dead on arrival.”

Chicago Tribune: “Average The only thing buzzing in 'Man on a Ledge' are little gnats of narrative improbability.”
