Hungarian Horsemeat Found In England
Some 100kg of horse meat labelled as beef and imported from Hungary has been discovered in England, the British Food Standard Agency announced on Friday. It said 40kg of the shipment were sold in Liverpool and nearby Preston.

The remainder was impounded and EU and Hungarian authorities were notified.

Ildikó Mokran, secretary of the wholesale company Hungarian Food, which bought the meat from Hungary, expressed shock and said the shipment was sold to her company as beef.
