Vehicles Stuck On Snowbound Roads In Hungary
Fire-fighters freed more than 40 cars trapped in the snow in Somogy county yesterday, where 15-20cm of snow had fallen by Tuesday morning.

Traffic came to a halt on several Budapest bus lines Monday evening, and passengers instead had to proceed on foot.

The Interior Ministry ended its restriction on allowing trucks larger than 7.5 tons to enter the country from Serbia, Croatia and Romania as the snowfall became less heavy.

Disaster Control authorities provided hot drinks and food to stranded truck drivers.

All major roads were cleared of snow by Tuesday morning, but more snow is forecast for today.
