Hungary to trim VAT on home care, renovation services |
"Hungary will reduce value added tax rates on home care services and the renovation of private homes in line with a European Union ruling that allows member states to impose preferential VAT rates on certain labour-intensive services.Finance Minister János Veres told Info Rádió on Sunday that Hungary, along with other EU members, could choose two out of five types of services to fall under a preferential VAT rate."
