"Fidesz press department head Zoltan Fekete, rather than campaign manager Antal Rogan will have to answer for the communications blunders of recent days according to reports. Fidesz is re-organising its internal communications system, to be officially independent of the publication Magyar Vizsla and the recent server affair.
The opposition party will announce details of the full reshuffle of its communication staff today. The gist of the move is that the press departments of the party headquarters and the parliamentary caucus will be combined.
The shared press department will be run by Judit Hammerstein, who has until now run the press section of the caucus, and Fekete will continue to act as chief of staff for deputy caucus leader Tamas Deutsch-Fur. The two spokesman system of the party will be replaced by a system employing specialist spokesmen.
Legal affairs will be run by deputy caucus leader Robert Repassy, economic affairs by former finance minister Mihaly Varga, tax affairs by former state secretary Andras Tallai, job creation by Ildiko Bernath, and educational matters by one-time political state secretary Laszlo Sio.
The post of caucus spokesman Janos Halasz is being phased out and spokesman Mariusz Revesz is likely to be appointed the personal spokesman of Fidesz chairman Viktor Orban.
Campaign manager Rogan keeps his post but Deutsch-Fur will head political communications, according to Nepszabadsag. According to an unofficial version Rogan’s internal position has diminished while that of caucus leader Janos Ader has strengthened."
