Hungarian low-fare airline WizzAir is expected to boost passenger numbers at the international airport in Debrecen, Hungary’s secondbiggest city, to 130,000 this year and 150,000 in 2014, mayor Lajos Kósa said.
WizzAir welcomed its 100,000th passenger in Debrecen on Wednesday. A gift shop and VIP waiting room were also inaugurated at the airport. WizzAir launched scheduled flights from the Debrecen airport in the summer of 2012.
