Hungarian MOL Shareholder Sues CEO Hernádi
MOL’s former top legal advisor has filed a lawsuit against chairman and CEO Zsolt Hernádi, alleging that the value of her MOL shares has suffered because of allegations that Hernádi bribed Croatian officials in order to obtain controlling rights over energy company INA.

Ilona Bánhegyi, head of MOL’s legal department until 2006, filed the case at the Capital Court in Budapest, with Hernádi, not MOL, as the defendant.

Bánhegyi reported her concerns to prosecutors in July, alleging fraud and mismanagement of funds, but the prosecutors office declined to investigate.
