Jet2.com Cabin Crew Pick Up Top Hungarian Travel Award
Leading British leisure airline Jet2.com is today celebrating after being crowned top in a survey to find Hungary’s friendliest cabin crew in the country’s annual ‘My Airline’ travel awards.

The awards, ran by leading travel portal Repjegy.hu, are nominated and voted for by consumers giving recognition to the most deserving airlines operating in Hungary. This is the first time that Jet2.com has topped one of the four categories in the annual awards, beating off competition from some of the world’s leading airlines including Emirates, Qatar and Turkish Airlines.

Steve Heapy, Chief Executive of Jet2.com said: “Budapest is an important part of our network and we are pleased to be celebrating being named the airline with the Friendliest Cabin Crew. This latest achievement follows Jet2.com being named Best Short Haul Airline at the British Globe Awards - and follows an excellent year of growth for the company, placing us in a fantastic position for 2014.”

“What makes the My Airline award so special is that it is voted for by our loyal Hungarian customers. This sort of recognition is testament to the ongoing commitment of every colleague at Jet2.com who make it possible for our customers to travel to and from some of Europe’s finest destinations.”

Famous for its award-winning friendly service, allocated seats and 22kg baggage allowance – Jet2.com offers low fares from Budapest to East Midlands (Nottingham), Manchester, Edinburgh - plus new destination Leeds (Yorkshire) starting April 2014.

Low fares to major cities in England and Scotland offer superb links for Hungarian business and leisure travellers who appreciate the choice and frequency of Jet2.com’s schedule – which offers more choice direct to the UK than any other airline.

Jet2.com flights to the UK are available for immediate booking on the airline’s Hungarian website www.Jet2.com.
