Domestic Concerns In Hungary To Drive EU Election
The majority of EU voters will consider domestic politics when voting at the European Parliament election, an attitude particularly typical of Hungarian voters, according to a survey conducted by Ipsos in 12 EU member states and published by state news agency MTI on Tuesday.

Accordingly, some 42% of the 9,300 poll respondents said they will vote for the party they expect to deliver the most positive results for their own country.

A further 11% will vote for the party that best represents their critical evaluation of their own government’s performance.

Only 13% of the respondents said they will vote according to how the parties get along with the EU.
