Hungarian Pilgrims At Auschwitz-Birkenau Intl March
Hungarian pilgrims are leading this year’s international March of the Living that set out from Auschwitz to Birkenau at 1pm on Monday. The Hungarian participants of the 26th march between the former Nazi death camps include Holocaust survivors, secondary school students, Jews and non-Jewish people and many Roma commemorating the Roma Holocaust.

A group of 600 representatives arrived from Hungary to attend the march after commemorations held on Sunday to mark the 70th anniversary of the Holocaust in Hungary.

Group members include Israeli Ambassador Ilan Mor and Swedish Ambassador Karin Olofsdotter. This year representatives from 54 countries are participating in the march.
