EU Funds Flowing To Hungary

Hungary has received another transfer of funding from Brussels after the 150 billion forints (EUR 495m) received last week, according to the cabinet press office. Payments for EU-funded projects have not been stopped and the European Commission is fulfilling payment requests continuously.
The 47 billion forints (EUR 150m) of funding received in a latest transfer is for bills already paid to tender winners on human resources and regional development projects, it added.
An official of the leftist opposition Democratic Coalition (DK) said on Thursday, citing news portal 444.hu, that further EU funds had been frozen by Brussels.
