Limited Edition Of Zsolnay Porcelains For Water Polo EC In Budapest
Hungarian Waterpolo Association (MVLSZ) and Zsolnay Porcelain Factory Plc. hava produced a set of exclusive Limited Edition Zsolnay china for waterpolo enthusiasts. The organising committee of Waterpolo European Championships (WPEC) have approached the well-known Hungarian manufacturer to craft a set of 2014 WPEC themed china.

Altogether 500 sets are available for purchasing and one set consists of four pieces. The pieces portray Alfred, the waterpolo ball shaped mascot frog of the WPEC, enjoying cocktails and cheerfully playing waterpolo.

Mariann Pintér, trade and marketing manager of Zsolnay Porcelain Factory Plc. said the request is a great honour for the company. “We are glad to give our name to this sport” she added.

Zsolnay porcelain was established by Vilmos Zsolnay in 1853, and have been continuously producing their goods for more than 160 years, gradually gaining world-wide reputation. Zsolnay porcelain was added to the list of Hungaricums a few days ago.

The sets hit the shelves before Easter, and would be sold in the biggest shops of Zsolnay at Astoria (Rákóczi út 4-6.), at Hotel Marriott, and at the factory shop in Pécs.

The price of the set is HUF 19 900,  and the sets can be preordered by clicking here.

Each purchase gives HUF 2000 to the Szalay Iván Foundation, which is specialised in awarding annually the most talented waterpolo players of the youth.
