In Heat Of Summer First Hungarian Organic Beer Arrives

The first Hungarian organic beer, a wheat beer dubbed “Alakor”, is now available in a number of supermarket chains, brewer Körös-Maros Biofarm said on Monday, in the midst of a heat wave.
Körös-Maros Biofarm created the beer as part of a 300 million forint, locally-funded development that is winding up this month.
The beer, sold in 0.33l bottles, retails for 400-460 forints.
Already, one-third of the 100,000 bottles the company is making this year have been sold.
Körös-Maros Biofarm’s main line of business is organic dairy products.
