Inflation In Hungary Nudges Up To 0.1% In July
Annual inflation was 0.1% year-on-year in July, the Central Statistics Office announced, defying analysts’ expectations of a figure at zero or in negative territory.

Inflation is still determined by the utility rate cuts, as the only inflation-boosting factor is the rising price of alcoholic beverages, analysts commented.

The 0.9% monthly increase in the cost of services is a surprise, caused by an unknown factor, observed Erste Bank’s Gergely Gabler.
