PM Office’s Move To Castle District Falls Under Secrecy Laws
Due to issues of national security, procurements concerning the move of the prime minister’s office to the castle district will be subject to secrecy laws, according to a government decree.

The office is scheduled to move by March 2016 into the one-time Carmelite monastery building which now serves as the National Dance Theatre.

It is situated next to the presidential Sándor Palace.

Under the decree published in the latest official gazette, Magyar Közlöny, the building’s renovation and associated procedures are subject to special rules due to security considerations.

Opposition parties have criticised the plan.
