Demonstrators Attack Fidesz HQ In Budapest
Hundreds of police were called in as up to 2,000 people, many of them concealing their faces behind masks, threw used computer equipment and climbed onto the balconies of the Fidesz headquarters when the protest against the internet tax ended shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday night.

Many of the aggressors were football supporters who had gathered earlier in the day to protest against the introduction of ID requirements at football matches.

As demonstrators threw computer hardware some shouted “Viktator”, “democracy,” “Europe,” and “VAT fraudsters”.

Some smashed windows and damaged blinds, while others placed an EU flag on top of the building.
