Remains Of German Soldiers Found In Budapest
The remains of two German soldiers were found next to a World War II bomb and other ordnance on Dísz tér in Buda Castle on Tuesday, the Defence Ministry revealed. It was established on the basis of the remnants of the clothes and various objects that the bodies are those of German soldiers, but there was nothing to identify them individually.

The soldiers will be buried at the German-Hungarian military cemetery in Budaörs.

Sixty local residents were compelled to evacuate 17 buildings after bomb disposal experts identified a 100kg Soviet bomb with a live ignition device.
