Hungarian Singer Sues Beyoncé
Hungarian singer Mónika Miczura Juhász, aka Mitsou, has sued American singer Beyoncé and rapper Jay Z over the uncredited use of her voice in the hit single “Drunk in Love”.

According to the lawsuit filed in Manhattan, the first 13 seconds of the Grammy-nominated single feature a distorted sample of a 1995 recording by Mitsou with the group Ando Drom.

The song in question is "Bajba, Bajba Pelem," a traditional Roma song that Mitsou learned from her grandmother.

It is not clear why it took Mitsou a year to realise that it is her song, when it has been a big hit, velvet.hu observes.
