Costes Downtown To Open In Spring 2015
Costes Restaurant which is run by Károly Gerendai and chef Miguel Rocha Vieira opens a new restaurant downtown at Prestige Hotel Budapest. The restaurant has been voted the 25th best restaurant of the World, and has recently been awarded the very first Michelin star in Hungary.

In order to keep the Michelin star, the restaurant operates at its original Ráday Street address for a while as well, but the new Costes Downtown restaurant opening in the hotel shall be the new flagship of the franchise.

The Portuguese star chef guarantees the same calibre of creatively crafted cuisine at both locations. In accordance with international trends, the new site will bear a bit more relaxed, cosy ambience, where diners will enjoy their meals in a harmonic and sophisticated milieu.

Besides fully serving all hotel guests, Costes Downtown will be certainly open for all guests walking in from the street as well. With nearly twice as much seating space as the original Ráday Street location’s almost cramped rooms, the new hotel site also features a show kitchen and a chef’s table luring in all lovers of gastronomy.

Now it is up to the pre-opening team introduced at the event to successfully lead the Prestige Hotel Budapest to the market in a way worthy of its name.
