Fishbone - If we are looking for the missing ring in the chain that connects the great funk-formations of the seventies, like the Sly & The Family Stone or the Funkadelic and those of the funk renaissance from the early nineties, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers or the Living Colour, we can easily find it: its the Fishbone.

The self-conscious, self-ironic band, the most refined melter of funk, ska, metal and jazz had greater influence than popularity, but Fishbone has stayed up till nowadays an inevitable, cultic band of the American funk scene. This time they will be on a stormy tour in Europe to show, that a real party night is unimaginable without the Fishbone."
