These annual festivities offer greater variety in 2015 than even before in terms of generations, genres and locations. There are dozens of venues this year, in addition to the Palace of Arts and the Opera House, the Academy of Music, the Budapest Music Center, the Whale, Vigadó, the National Theatre and other Budapest theatres and museums will also be home to outstanding local and international events.

The 35th Budapest Spring Festival offers visitors a programme involving many of the arts, with events in classical and contemporary music, opera, jazz and pop, world music, dance, theatre and the visual arts.

With top Hungarian performers and famous world stars, the festival is a truly special occasion, presenting local and world premieres of musical and theatrical productions throughout its seventeen days.

Put on again in cooperation between the Palace of Arts, the Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre, and Hungarian Tourism, the event series continues to broaden its appeal by involving more of the leading cultural institutions of the city.
