Flea markets In The Heart Of Budapest
Flea markets are great places to discover unique objects that you could never find in a store. Visiting flea markets is also a very exciting activity as you never know what you’ll find, and they are also excellent places to meet locals. Fortunately, flea markets are becoming more and more popular in Budapest, and with Antik PLACC, a recent addition to the list, anyone can now enjoy treasure hunting in the very heart of Budapest.

AntikPlacc is happening on every Sunday between 10am and 5pm at Anker’t (33 Paulay Ede St., 1061 Budapest view map). In the beginning, it was held at The Bálna, however, Anker’t with its raw brick walls and big spaces is much more suitable for a flea market.

From furniture and jewellery to old cameras and music boxes, you can find anything and everything at Antik PLACC. And if you get tired or hungry, you can have lunch or a quick snack at the bar or you can just sit for a while with a nice cup of coffee and watch other people hunting for treasures around you.

In fact, ruin pubs hosting regular events and happenings, such as the farmers’ market at Szimpla or at FARM, is now a very typical thing in Budapest, and these markets also offer a great way to experience the local side of the city.

If you want to check out another flea market this weekend, then we also recommend that you visit the first flea market at Iskola, also on Sunday, between 10am and 4pm (3 Hegedű St, 1061 Budapest
