See What Happened @ St. Patrick’s Day Parade In Budapest
This is one of the most colourful days on the Budapest social calendar and this year’s did not disappoint either. As the sunbeams cascaded across Szabadsag ter and balloons floated in the sky to the sound of bagpipes, you knew it was St. Patrick’s Day.

As the crowds gathered for the start of the annual parade, everyone was in a party mood, especially those who have been partying at the St. Patrick’s Day Gala the night before.

What usually makes this particular parade great is the special atmosphere that comes with Hungarian, Irish and many other countries coming together in a sea of green, white and orange.

And with a couple of nips of the strong stuff (Jameson), bagpipes, the huge Irish wolves and some smaller varieties, painted faces, wigs, cardboard beards, kilts, funny hats and lots more, the party was on its way!
