MTVA Reports Assault On Newsreader To Hungarian Police
Zsolt László Szabó, head of state media manager MTVA, yesterday reported the weekend assault on M1 newsreader Miklós Borsa to Balatonfüred police. An unidentified man physically attacked Borsa in Balatonfüred on Saturday after confirming that he was the face of M1 news, saying “tell lies now”.

MTVA said in a statement that it is inadmissible and particularly dangerous for society that any member of the public service media or any citizen should be exposed to verbal attack or physical assault because of their work.
