See What Happened @ South Africa's 'Freedom Day' Celebration In Budapest
H. E Ambassador Johann Marx presided over a celebration in Budapest to mark the occasion of the National Freedom Day of the Republic of South Africa.

This country's annual Freedom Day events on 27 April mark the occasion in 1994 when the first democratic election was held in South Africa, an election when all adults were able to vote irrespective of their race. It also marks the day in 1997 when a new constitution took effect.
